Comments Thread For: George Foreman: If Fight Goes Twelve - Canelo Will Beat Golovkin

Gennady Golovkin may have won all 37 of his fights as a professional boxer, but he still does not love the sport. The undefeated Golovkin will put his WBC, WBA, IBF and IBO middleweight belts on the line on Saturday when he takes on Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

As long as Felix Trinidad vs Hopkins , and Oscar Dela Hoya vs Hopkins did not go to the decision, GGG will knock out Canelo..no fake middleweight can beat a legitimately proven middleweight champion.

A lot of people and EX Fighters are starting to write off Triple G the closer it becomes Fight Night.. I expect Golovkin to put on another cerebal technical display like he did against David Lemieux and when he does the same people need to speak up and give the man props

So everyone is just going to ignore the first half of this article. He loves his family more than boxing but couldn't break away for the birth of his daughter. Boxing is "easy money." Sounds familiar? He turns into GGG in the ring? This guy is so manufactured it's ridiculous.

It's obvious if the fight goes the distance the odds increase dramatically in Canelo's favor.

GGG must KO Canelo, because he will never get decision against Canelo especially in Vegas. Floyd dominated Canelo for 12 rounds but still 1 judge gave a draw...

More or less agree. I mean its always an extreme & sorta nutty opinion to say "so & so can't win a decision" cuz its definitely not 100% true obviously. But the true premise of what people are saying with these sorta remarks I usually believe to some degree or another. Cuz I do think Canelo is figuratively coming into this fight up by 3 points on the cards before the bell rings for the first round. So GGG needs to win 8 rounds to win the fight by a close 1 point basically. GGG needs to win his rounds super clearly or get a KD or two to enhance his chances of negating that edge by Canelo & take that judge lean for Canelo away. Close rounds I think you can give to Canelo maybe ~75% of the time cuz the judges likely will.

I mean people are giving their opinions. Okay maybe some cats are fanboying, but fanboying happens with both guys in these sorta big PPV fight usually so that bs cancels itself out & generally I'd suggest people just ignore those cats cuz they aren't reasonable mfers 9 times outta 10.

The legit boxing fans have opinions & probably even favorites sometimes in a fight like this, but its not like they are usually against the guy they aren't picking as pro-the other guy & whoever is winning/wins they will give that guy their props during + after the fight. Its not about props for most of us. Its a fight & honestly both guys could deserve props after the fight regardless who wins. This sh^t ain't about that simple sorta sh^t to most cats here I don't believe. Most just wanna see a good fight, but they tend to be the quiet majority.
