what part of legacy was the brook fight? what fight would be better for your legacy? beating canelo or beating andre ward....so instead you duck a fight with ward to fight the smaller guy for the bigger purse......what part of golovkins mw legacy is canelo? the guy with 0 wins against middleweights? canelo won lineal at a CW from a guy that won it at a CW ...and then he defended it at a CW...lol

you can duck a guy thats a division north of you if you try to make fights with guys like froch and chavez in that division...and then say you will only fight the champ from that division at 164...lol

I think he cares about both money and legacy. Brook was a fight he took to keep active and at the time Kell was the only one who had the balls to face him. It was Brook 's decision to move up. He didn't duck Ward. At the time his agenda was to unify. He said it repeatedly. There will be time to move up when he's accomplished his goal. He fought anybody worth fighting in the division and wrecked every one of them. Still he gets dumped on for his resume. When he loses one fight let the criticism start but until then sit back and enjoy. Can't wait for tomorrow night.

No, Ward and Hunter have publicly stated that they'd consider fighting Joshua, whereas GGG said he would fight anyone within one weight class of him. I'm just using the same logic you used to arrive at the conclusion that GGG ducked Ward, which of course he didn't.

Also, I'm not buying that the plan was for Brook to fight him all along because Brook needlessly gave away his undefeated record by taking that fight. He'd been very carefully managed up to that point and to go up two weight divisions and fight an absolute killer, although brave, has all the hallmarks of a last minute deal.

Also, you've probably already seen this but....

GGG said hed "fight anyone within a weight class of him"? thats great....adds even more to what i said about him ducking ward...because when ward contacted golovkin about a fight AT 168 ward had just fought paul smith and weighed 171 for that fight....so he was ready to push back down to 168....and golovkins team replied NO within a half hour lol

brook gave away his 0 needlessly you say? nahhh...brook lost nothing in that fight...it was a no lose situation....he lost his 0 but he made a ton of money and nobody considers it an actual loss......it was by far brooks biggest exposure as well

Listen to a lot of the prediction and pre fight videos for this fight. A lot of the YouTube guys are saying Canelo's actually the bigger man, and remember, he's younger too, so he's still got a little room to grow, while this is as big as GGG can get.

Canelo weighed 170 for Angulo, Showtime had the weights mixed up. But even if he does rehydrate more it doesn't mean he's the bigger man.

The photos show it all, ggg is much taller, he walks around near 190, and based on this pic, can you really imagine him being able to fight at 155lbs like Canelo?




This guy can shed another 5lbs and fight effectively? No way. It's because he's the bigger man, always has been, he's a career middle.

I think he could, he just likes fighting at his natural weight of MW, and he's a lot older than Canelo, so you gotta take that into consideration. Also, GGG walks around at 190, eating whatever he wants, and just chillin with the family. I think we can both meet in the middle, and say they're pretty much the same size.
