Showtime continues to humiliate HBO. In one of the best years of boxing, Showtime has really put its foot on the gas pedal. Big tripleheader in October. Solid one in November. Let the great boxing continue.

Could be an interesting card but only time will tell.

      Jacobs vs Lee

Lipinets vs the highest possible rank guy in the IBF 140 rankings.

Sounds like a helluva card to me. Wilder-Ortiz should tell us a good amount about both fighters unless one gets clipped early in the first round (which could easily happen); curious who they match up against Danny Jacobs. The Stiverne undercard fight sounds like it could provide some decent fireworks too.

Didn't Stievern say that he would absolutely not allow Wilder vs Ortiz to go on and didn't care about no step aside fee??... well whatever happened to that, I'm just glad that the fight (Wilder vs Ortiz) is about ready to go. This fight will tell us what we need to know about both these guys, respect to Wilder for taking on the "boogeyman".

Oh man, I love Lee...one of my favorite fighters. I think Danny would much for him. Danny is too big and athletic for him, would probably maul Andy en route to a TKO. Then again if Andy is allowed to unload some clean shots he could probably kayo anyone.

Who Jacobs winds up fighting will say a lot about him. Is he the bada$$ boogey man GGG's haters make him out to be or is he the guy who is content with not getting KO'ed?

I hope this card is pushed back into the first or second week of December for the following 2 selfish reasons -
                1) UFC 217 is also on the same night as this and that card is absolutely stacked with 3 world title fights, the return of GSP, a grudge match in Garbrandt and Dillashaw and another top fight in Masvidal V Thompson
                2) I want SHOWTIME to end the year with their classic stacked cards. I remember SHO ending 2010 with a **** with Hopkins V Pascal 1 in December I think. I remember the double quadruple headers in the first 2 weeks of December 2013 - 1st quadruple header was headlined by Judah V Malignaggi then the week later, Maidana bummed Broner. I want that again

Finally Windmiller steps up and takes a risk, credit to him.

I lean towards him slightly in this one but Ortiz is without question a big, dangerous sob.

Showtime has destroyed the competition this year. What a damn year for the sport I love.
