Andre Ward and Roy Jones are not bad but I have always found the chief HBO crew to be the most biased on TV - BY FAR. On ESPN, Teddy Atlas fixates on certain fighters and gets annoying but Lampley and Kellerman are far worse, with Lampley the crowned king of jock riding for house fighters like Klitschko, Lomachenko and Golovkin. They can't say enough good things about the fighters they like when they're dispatching no-hopers while for those non-contracted champions that get put on the undercards, they swarm in to nit pick at every little thing, including putting down their opponents as nothing special. This has been in play since the days of Larry Merchant as well. If they "hit their stride" for Saturday's PPV, get ready for some big league slobbering.

MF's just need someone to blame when their fighter loses, the refs, the commentators, the judges, the trainers and everyone but the fighter. Some of you think you know more about boxing than ROY JONES JR

Lampley was good when he was younger and had an enthusiastic tone. Now, Lampley has the tone of a bitter know-it-all who does not actually know-it-all.

What the **** kind of story is this. Who's a boxing writer and writes a story about the annoucing crew? Shills thats who.
Boxing is the only sports were the so called journalists talk about the annoucing crews or network.
They act like HBO is too big to fail when clearly they failed. You trying to keep them afloat in hopes of getting favoritism i suppose but theyre done. Smh trash.

I'm curious to see which fighter the HBO crew will favor. From the little bit I've heard from Kellerman I would say it will be Golovkin.
