The Way Gonzalez Fought Was Embarrassing

I'm not accepting the fanboy excuses, you can not tell me this guy is P4P the best fighter in boxing and then proceed to use the "he ran into a bigger man" excuse. For one this was not his first fight with Rungvisai, he already went 12 with him so his size, power, style, skills should be no mystery for Gonzalez or his team. A P4P fighter takes what they learned in the first fight and makes adjustments regardless of size.

Secondly I won't accept the "he got old over night" excuse because less than a year ago you were claiming he was better than Floyd "freaking" Mayweather! A guy with no defense and never proven he can handle adversity was somehow declared better than Floyd??

Third, it's about time you actually watch the fight and say to yourself what is Gonzalez doing in the ring? He was fighting one of the most defensively irresponsible fights I ever seen! Doing nothing but coming forward in straight lines, no head movement, no footwork, no real strategy, tactics, or game plan. His answer to anything that happens in the ring is throw more punches. He left himself exposed, vulnerable, and wide open the entire fight, it was clear he would get starched at any second!

This fight had nothing to do with the size of the two opponents or getting old overnight, it had everything to do with fighting with a low IQ. You fight in a non intelligent way you get dispatched, even by an average fighter like Rungvisai. For a so called P4P fighter that was an embarrassing performance that deserves massive criticism. Stop making excuses for this guy, either improve your skills or retire.

Another excuse is he's been in wars and had 48 fights at the age of 30. Rungvisai is the same age & has 49 fights and he's been stopped twice. He's been in wars too.

He should have fought an mma fighter instead of a top fighter in his prime like the Thai boxer.

lol yeah the "he's old now/on the decline" excuse is total BS. Dude is barely 30 and was being called the sports best not even a year ago as you pointed out. Not to mention he fought the same guy and many thought he was robbed on the cards and that he'd easily beat Rungvisai this time These fools are just parroting Jim Lampley who immediately dropped that excuse when Gonzalez got his ass handed to him.

Styles makes fight you POS, Roman is a pressure fighter, Rugvisai is a brick wall that does not fold under pressure and instead throws bombs while being pressured.. Chocolatito has actually never faced such boxers, every one else he faced folded under pressure, including Estrada, Cuadras.

Too bad for him the public isn't racist against Nicaraguans like they are black americans and chocolatito isn't as hated as Floyd for him to take advantage.

Let's be real, many felt that he was fighting a journeyman when he took this Thai guy on and ducked the Cuadras rematch. It just blew up in his face. This is more equivalent to Floyd losing to Andre Berto.

If that's the case then Mr. P4P should of done something different rather than initiating the same tactics that didn't work the first fight! There is no way you can argue against the fact Gonzalez fought a dumb, low IQ fight!

He just faced such a boxer 6 months ago.

Estrada & Cuadras didn't fold under pressure. Cuadras was the fresher fighter the last 6 rds. Those were close fights

Cuadras whooped Lil Roman's ass first. The Thai just finished the job.
