Comments Thread For: De La Hoya Believes He'd Beat Conor McGregor in Two Rounds

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya is still steaming over last month's Showtime Pay-Per-View event which featured Floyd Mayweather Jr. making his return after two years, against UFC superstar Conor McGregor. De La Hoya believes Mayweather could have ended the fight much earlier, but intentionally carried McGregor to the later rounds to avoid any post-fight controversy - as the event carried a high pay-per-view price tag of $100 for HD.

Coked up De La Hoya gets beat even by McGregor. He couldn't stop Steve Forbes 9 years ago, now he looks about 55 and has gone through drug and alcohol problems, so it's safe to say he gets stopped by anyone with a pulse at this point. Even MMA fighters.

On the other hand can someone PLEASE buy this man some tampons so he can get over this seemingly never ending period that he's on? Every day more moaning, every single day without fail.

Even if Hoya is coked up while wearing heels in the fight with his fish nets he would still KO mcgregor in 3.

I know he's getting asked the questions but I don't understand why he's still talking about this fight? It's done. Let's get on with Canelo/GGG!

Time for Oscar to send his handlers after Charlamagne.

Exactly he doesn't realise it but he's inadvertently promoted Mayweather/McGregor more than his own PPV. He needs to move on.

I told ya'll in that "De La Hoya Would Have Rejected Chance To Promote May-Mac" thread that this dude would come out of retirement to not only promote the event, but fight McGregor himself.

He was being a huge hypocrite. You can never turn down that kind of money. Make it happen!
