Comments Thread For: Pacquiao Steps Away From Rematch, Horn To Defend on 11/12

According to multiple reports in Australia, eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao has pulled out of a planned November rematch with WBO champion Jeff Horn. The fight was in the early planning stages, after Horn's win over Pacquiao in the "Battle of Brisbane" in July to take the WBO title. Pacquiao is understood to have scheduling conflicts with the November 12 date, meaning Horn will have to find a challenger to defend his title.

Sh^t I'm surprising myself. I called that, but didn't think it'd actually happen. Now if Crawford steps in for Manny I'm pretty sure I'm the new Conor McGregor Mystic Mac.

damn shame. Manny DUCKING Jeff "The Hornet" Horn. Not facing his "Hornet Problems".

Ya'll need to recognize this dude now, made an ATG duck him, delays in getting the rematch done, excuses...

Crawford's debut at welterweight is going to be spectacular.

I'd watch Crawford vs. Horn, think Crawford kills him but hope Horn brings it like he did against PACMAN, could make it interesting

Pacquiao should just really think about retiring.

He's not a fulltime fighter anymore. He can't expect to perform well if he fights occasionally. I know he has obligations with his political standing and he has to focus on that. Even more so to just retire.

I guess if he continues he can fight next year at some point. But his priorities are somewhere else now, respectfully.

He should consider retiring before he gets himself hurt. He's going to be 39 years old in December and he's a part time fighter.

Honestly, he should have just retired after that 3rd Tim Bradley fight like he planned.
