Not to mention Conor has a high belief in himself which all great athletes do. And guess what ? He made the fight a lot more interesting than most people thought he could. And if some of the punches he threw landed a little bit cleaner such as the uppercut in rd1 Floyd could have fell to the canvas from that shot.
Thats not selling the fight, thats MISLEADING people. You dont sell the fight, by lying about what your going to do. Dana White said before the fight "I looked Conor in the eye, and I believe him man...He's going to knock out Floyd Mayweather"

Conor manipulated allot of people into believing in him.

And you can talk trash but be realistic. Their was no 4 round KO. Not only that, but he LOST, and got his brains battered in. His fans bet their house on him, and MMA fans were repeating his nonsense. Everyone is almost letting it go unnoticed. This kid is not Ali or Floyd. They talk trash and back it up. This dude got his biggest pay day to talk all of this trash, and NOT back it up.

He got 100 million. He didnt take any risk, or do anything special, by being proven wrong, and getting beat up by Floyd. As I said prior, he got 100 million!

The fatigue thing was poor though - he looked like he started gassing in round 5 to me.

Floyd said he would take Conor on in MMA at one of the press conferences. I'm sure you didn't believe that. Or did you? Floyd also said he wouldn't take a step backward once the first bell rang and he was the first one to do so. It's all BS to sell the fight.
No thats not selling the fight, thats called LYING. Floyd can say whatever df he wants to say, he's the greatest of all time. Its not like Floyd signs to fight Anthony Joshua, someone we know he cant beat. Then promises everyone over and over again, that he will dominate Anthony inside 7 rounds.

And flatout LIES and manipulates everyone into thinking that we should believe in him. FOH.

Comparing Floyd saying "I will beat him in the cage"(which I believe is possible, because I dont see Conor as a professional athlete at all), is not the same. Its not like Floyd promised up and down that he will go to the Octagon.

Conor didnt just sell the fight, he promised up and down, all around, that this was a one sides 4 round KO. And he got beat up. This is the time to go in on him. Not giving him credit for LOSING, with heart, that makes no sense.

And btw, Floyd BULLIED Conor. What he took a step back once or twice, and now we're going to ignore the fact that he aggressor the action while Conor ran around the ring because he couldnt handle pressure from a 40yr old.

Conor is not a professional athlete. When his punches landed on Floyd it sounded like cardboard. Mayweather was stronger, physically powerful, hit harder, pushed this 170lbs "pro fighter" around the ring. Conor stepped back the entire fight, but Floyd steps back once or twice, and we're going to actually make that a thing!?

      Foh dummy

I just gave you examples a few posts back of how Floyd didn't back his trash talk up. Care to comment?

He didnt believe he could win. After the fight, he didnt look shocked that it went past 4 rounds. That tells me, that he was just lying. I like his trash talk and charisma, I dont like the lying and talking things that you have to back up.

This is the biggest stage of his career, and he fumbled badly and looks like a fool! Their was no 4 round KO. In the 5th round, he didnt seem shocked like "Wait a minute, this is the 5th round...The fight is supposed to be over by now"

Thats how we know he was just lying about everything.

I responded to the silly nonsense in which you compared what Floyd said to what Conor said....Conor is a disgrace to combat sports!

Strong in the clinch ..hahahaha. Thatīs what floyd does better, clinching. If he tried that in MMA, he would get demolished.

Floyd has lied before, but my opinion goes beyond simply lying. Conor talked a big game and didnt back it up.

Manny pac and Freddie roach did the same thing. They talked all training camp how they would knock out Floyd , manny said he could break that defense easy and look what happened ? It's not about misleading the public. You are completely seeing it the wrong way. Conor I'm sure actually believed he could do damage to Floyd , not sure if he really thought he could win but I'm sure he went into that ring highly confident in his skills. Also like I said he COULD have ko Floyd when you really think about it , he caught Floyd with that uppercut if it landed better and more clean maybe Floyd would have been in trouble.

Also when you get in the ring with Floyd like he always says it's different , you learn how good Floyd actually is. Also Conor I'm sure is used to the small gloves where even grazing shots to the opponents head can hurt him , boxing is different obviously, you have to really punch correctly and it's harder to land shots that cause damage. So no Conor was not misleading the public at all , your looking at the outcome and basing your conclusions off that but no Conor's intention was not to mislead the public.

Also if anyone bet their house on a sporting event then you're a complete moron. To blame Conor is pathetic.

Nah fam, you sounding like a Conor apologist, may as well let it go. You cant possibly compare what Roach did to what Conor did. Not only that but Pac was the absolute best for Floyd to fight. Conor RAN HIS MOUTH, so much. He talked trash like he is Ali or something, and just wouldnt let it go. And didnt back it up not one bit. Dude is a disgrace.

Its okay to talk trash but dont say no unrealistic mess and keep pushing the issue over and over again. He wouldnt let the 4round KO go, at ALL. Dude is a flatout disgrace.
