Davis is young enough where he's going to naturally put on the way but what the article didn't stipulate was, most boxing bodies do this, it said the ibf strip him immediately... was he not allowed opportunities to take off the weight??? most of the boxing bodies give you two attempts within 1 or 2 hours...

Another PBC weight bully. The only reason this dude looked good vs Pedraza was because he was draining down to fight much smaller guys, just like Broner looked so great at 135 and everyone overhyped him, just like Jermall Charlo at 154. Now that Tank is at 135, Mikey Garcia vs Tank is THE fight to make at that weight class, and I got Mikey and I don't think it's a hard pick.

I said this all along. He's too big for the weight. Not sure it is a discipline issue. He's fought at lightweight before too.

Lomachenko can now unify all four belts. Davis didn't want any sadly.
I wonder who Davis will challenge at 135.
I imagine he won't fight for the WBO title. Especially if Verdejo beats Flanagan.
If Linares beats Campbell then that won't happen. Mayweather/de la Hoya.
If Campbell wins then I could see them targeting him.

I don't think Davis would want any of Mikey and maybe not even Easter.

He couldn't make it. He weighed in after Floyd and Conor. He was supposed to weigh in before them. I doubt he requested and extra hour or two to make it. He knew he was done that's why he weighed in late.

Embarrassing.....Again I don't understand these fighters who given theses chances to have a huge platforms and they blow there opportunities.

Hopefully this fight gets salvaged. If not Mr. Mayweather will not be too happy with his protege.

The undefeated Davis officially weighed in at 132 pounds, two pounds higher than the limit for the super featherweight division.

He's young and will learn and grow. It is better he move to a division he is comfortable making weight in because when fighters are too drained, they are seriously risking their health. Dehydration can be a serious issue.
