Why didn't Jones go up and fight Tyson or Holyfield

He defeated a ****ty heavyweight but he never fought an elite heavyweight like Tyson or Holyfield. Why is that

      Your kidding....
      1. He respected them and didn't want to emberass them and ruin their friendship.
      2. He didn't want to fight for less than 500 million dollars.
      3. He called them but the only available fight date would have conflicted with the finale of Gilligan's Island so they both politely declined.
      4. He would have been beaten to a pulp.
Only one answer is correct. You have two hours..

He knew he could beat Ruiz but could not beat Holyfield, Tyson or Lewis. It was a stunt to become a heavyweight champ. No knowledgeable boxing fan ever considered Jones THE heavyweight champ. Still it was a good win for him.

He would've bee beaten to a pulp but that didn';t stop Wilfred, Floyd, Duran, Pernell, Oscar, and now Crawford from challenging themselves. Why does Roy get such a pass

            Because
            1. We like Roy and don't want to ruin our friendship.
            2. Roy is a commentator and if he finds out what we said he will say nasty things about our favorite fighters.
            3. We just dont care.
            4. Its unreasonable to expect Roy to take on two of the top fighters at heavyweight with his smaller frame.

Seriously he gad no chabce if winning. He only did it as a one off thing. He had no intention of remaining at heavyweight. He got his name in the record books and generated some publicity.

                He wanted to fight Tyson.

                Never materialised.

                Lewis was never an option.

Lewis would have out weighed him by 60 pounds lol. He went back to 175 after. He had no chance
