'Ring rust Paulie' fought professionally more recently than McGregor

    Paulie's last fight - 5 months ago.

    Conor's - 9 months ago.

Can we drop the 'retired and rusty' excuse now? It's not only plain wrong but also absurdly hypocritical since everyone's been saying Floyd's TWO YEAR inactivity won't make a difference!

I like how the excuses are all coming out now but all you heard on this forum before the videos dropped were "I believe Paulie! No way McGregor worked him! It was a push!"

What happened to all of you people? Now when the evidence gets dropped, suddenly Paulie is ****..

Didn't Paulie retire after getting worked over and stopped by a British domestic level scrub, Conor just went 12 rounds with an out of shape fat Paulie and could only muster 11 seconds of highlights from 36 minutes of sparring.

I said months ago that I thought Conor could be competitive if not beat Paulie in a real fight. I have always respected Paulie as a tough guy, but he has been C level at best for years now.

I actually don't think Conor is some bum. He is a pro athlete and he has shown a very good left hand in MMA. To think Paulie would just embarrass him is wishful thinking.

I believed Paulie that it was a push the same way I believed him when he said Conor roughed him up at the end just like the clip showed.

9 months in training, sparring regularly vs 5 months eating and drinking what you want, commentating and making podcasts.

Lets keep perspective here. Pillow puncher Paulie who is over the hill. Conor could have asked for anyone to come and spar with him, he chose an old man.
