Good for him. Best of luck with whatever he decides to do next.

Joshua is only getting stronger and would've walked through him in a rematch imo

Yeah, Wlad showed is was still elite at 41 and so was more than that at 35.

        Dude looked unbeatable under Steward.

Josh still had his handfull with an old coming from a loss/lay off Wlad.

It proves Wlad was so dominant because dude was just that good, not only because his era was bad (wich was also kinda true).

... Joshua vs Klitschko, at the Wembley Stadium, in front of a post-war record crowd of 90,000 in attendance was a monumental boxing show... (therefore it's the right moment to retire)...

Great fighter, great champion, always happy to see a guy like that retire with full faculties, no slurred speech, no pushing things one fight too far or worse.

You know, one doesn't necessarily have to go out on a win, he gave a really good account of himself and showed heart, I'd say that's an ideal way to retire as well.

Was a good way to go out. He showed his warrior heart and spirit. Almost took out a much younger and even bigger guy. Good job!

                    Happy retirement, champ!

Well his next fight showed that he still had something left in the tank so I guess you're wrong.
