The house always wins in the long run, and sports betting is notoriously rough. If Floyd really bets that often, I'm certain he loses more than he wins. I'll bet you'll never see him post his losses, though. Lol

And lol at these auctions having payment plan options on your bids. I thought the whole deal with auctions was full payment up front.
Lol when rich people buy cars they can usually get an interest free loan or like 1% interest. Inflation goes up 2-3% a year so they come out ahead simple economics

He bought the car for a crazy amount, drove it, had fun and will now be selling it for a profit. Not a bad way to make money.

It's one of 2 (or 3 since travita means 3) limited editions always appreciat in value.. If he kept it for another 10 years he'd make double what he paid for it. This cars had white diamond in the carbon fibre.. Only car in the world that has that.

As for people calling him broke.. He just bought 2 laferrari's.. The going rate for them is 3/5 million each so yea he just spent alot more on buying cars than this car will sell for.. But he broke.

            This is called "asset liquidation"

The question is how much did he pay for it vs how much is he going to get when he sells it.

Does the fact that it was his car increase its value, and if so by how much?

My opinion? No. He'll get back a decent chunk, probably, but he won't recoup his layout. Think about this: he bought one of only two in the world. With all the massive wealth out there, which makes Floyd look like a beggar, why didn't someone far wealthier buy one? Why would they give him the same amount he paid now, or more, after it's been used? Because it belonged to him? Those kind of people don't care for such things. Something else: the auction house gets a nice cut of the sale, right off the top, making it even harder to break even.

spending money doesnt mean you have money. he's a broke joke and will be giving out 5 dollar bjs in a couple years as opposed to now where he gives them for free
