I think McGregor will gas once the fight hits the late rounds - if it hits the late rounds.

I've no doubt McGregor is physically fit enough to go 12 rounds. That's not good enough though...
The issue is that Mayweather will dictate the rhythm and pace of the fight anyway anyway, Conor will be missing a lot and that's when frustration and mental fatigue kicks in and that's when the energy will drain out of him.
Most fighters, whether it be boxing or MMA would do 12 rounds if they were dictating the pace and fighting well in their comfort zone but it's not that simple.
I could go run the 10,000 meters now on a running track at my own leisure, no problem but stick me in trying to keep up with someone who is more adept at running those distances and can dictate how fast we run and when to speed up/slow down etc..and i'll probably be spent halfway through.Last edited by TheBigLug; 07-23-2017, 03:38 PM.

Frustrated, loading up on big punches.
I see him getting tired very quickly.
What he doesn't realize yet is that he's going to miss, and miss, and miss, that's gonna really frustrate him and **** up his confidence as the fight goes on.
I predict we'll be able to see the point in the fight when Mcgregor realizes "I just can't hit this guy" and then the fight's over.
