In comparison to Showtime the Errol Spence/Brook fight only drew 291K viewers. Stevenson/Fonfara drew 390K here are the last 5 Showtime Boxing ratings

    4/29/2017 Joshua/Klitschko *afternoon 659,000

    6/3/2017 Fonfara/Stevenson 390,000
Smaller network. Smaller pool of viewers to choose from.
I have no idea why you don't understand this.
    It's middle school math.

683k is NOT the peak rating that's the avg rating for the entire Main Event Berchelt vs Miura

629K is the avg rating for Corrales vs Castellanos
617K is the avg ratings for Barrera vs Smith

Have to wait till HBO or somebody else releases what the show peaked at.

BS Showtime vs HBO has the same difference in audiences that have existed for years. Why has Showtime Boxing ratings fallen off a cliff while HBO ratings are only down slightly? Why don't you understand that Showtime just 2-3 years ago were almost neck and neck and now they are drawing HALF when the subscribers have stayed consistent between HBO and Showtime? Also 683K wasn't the peak you idiot that's the full 49min main event number. And this is HBO's smaller boxing after dark series and still they blew away each of Showtime's last top boxing cards in ratings. HBO's last Championship Boxing series card drew 961K viewers. Again HBO boxing after dark or Championship Boxing ratings have gone down slightly from year to year. Showtime has fallen off a phuking cliff.

Step your game up Motorcity Cobra trying to deflect on PBC having the worst ratings since they started putting on cards. Not only was it the WORST ratings on network TV finishing dead last in every demographic but worst then the lowest PBC on NBC rating which got the plugged pulled because those ratings stunk. your title is a lie 683K is not the peak rating. And this card did BETTER then any of the previous HBO Boxing After Dark cards this year. And took a major dump on anything Showtime Boxing has been doing. Meanwhile FOX had a horrendous day

659,000 for Joshua-Klitschko, not bad considering how long it took Showtime and HBO to determine how they were going to broadcast the fight. Replay on HBO drew more than the live fight broadcast. May be due to time of the fight and perhaps subscribers.

But at the end of day, Showtime and HBO only have themselves to blame. The ratings for Joshua-Klitschko could have been way, way higher if they resolved the broadcast situation and advertised and promoted this fight a lot earlier instead of deciding one week before the fight how they were going to broadcast. The same numbers that he posted. Which number was higher than the 683? Where are you getting your numbers to get the average if you aren't using these numbers? So you're gonna me the PBC average was 996k and not the peak?

That's the network numbers showing FOX finished DEAD LAST because they aired PBC. Here is the full cable ratings below showing the breakdown for the HBO ratings. And nowhere in goodman's tweet did he say those were the peak numbers. Your dumb azzz just lied and made that up. that's the avg ratings broken down per time slots. The 683K is the avg for the entire main event. Which would be the highest HBO Boxing After Dark rating for any fight this year beating out Lemieux/Stevens and Vargas/Berchelt.

They're the peak numbers because those are the highest. How can the average be the same as the peak? Do you know how to do basic math? According to your math PBC averaged 996k instead of the 886k I posted
