Comments Thread For: Canelo's Trainer: We Will Control The Fight's Pace - Not Golovkin!

The handlers behind Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) are very confident of their boxer's ability to control the pace of his upcoming showdown with IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs). Canelo will challenge Golovkin on September 16th, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. HBO Pay-Per-View will carry the contest.

Canelo beats the vastly over rated GGG fairly easy-watch

Canelo wins a decision over GGG not matter what happens in the fight outside of a GGG KO. The fix is already in and Canelo gets the decision win Horn style in Vegas. No commie is coming to the USA and getting any breaks. Canelo is better anyway than over rated over hyped flush job GGG. FACT

So untrue if ggg goes all out attack mode Canella has to fight back so how is he controlling the pace the more aggressive fighter controls the pace

thats it, keep the talk coming, try build canelos confidence up. deep down you know what happened in sparring, canelo still has nightmares about that. as soon as he feels that first solid shot he will panic.

Canella can try to move angle box while under attack but that's not setting the pace that's a response to the pace

Ggg isn't going to go on an "all out attack" that'd be foolish against a legit counter puncher. Ggg will use his jab to try and set the distance and work off his jab. Throw some feints and see what opens up for him. He will look for those openings to throw his power right or left hook to the body. But everything starts off the jab. Only way I see ggg going all out is if he is down and it's late in the fight

This is the REAL DEAL FIGHT!!! Can't wait for it... hope it's every bit and entertaining as we all think it's going to be. Mexicans can care less about mayweathers bull**** fight. No one likes a defensive fighter that just "runs"... we want to see action!!!!!!

Once g string gets cracked with a Canelo uppercut he'll back off and think twice about going on an all out attack on Canelo!
