I'm not boycotting. Boycotting is refusing to watch out of principle to send a message. I'm refusing to watch because the outcome is lose-lose. As I said once, I want to see two skilled boxers in there trying to show me who's superior. Despite the theoretical mismatch that was Pacquiao Horn it turned out to be an excellent scrap, because both guys are career boxers - so yes, I'd rather support that.

I paid for MayPac because they're both career boxers, despite it having been a mismatch in smart peoples' eyes.

If MayGregor were on free TV, I still wouldn't watch the crap. And yes, that's my choice.

Yea its all more or less boxing of varying appeal to me. I prefer the boxing of the sanctioned professional variety doe. Used to love amateur boxing, but I see less appeal in that these days even during the Olympics.

And like I keep saying fair play with that opinion. Why you aren't gonna watch is your own business. I just like watching boxing & this boxing match is a event that goes beyond boxing. It is what it is.

I can understand why people view it as bad, but I just enjoy boxing ultimately not all that drama with the appeal or lack of appeal involving the caliber of competition in particular when its an event fight. I by no means thought Canelo vs Chavez Jr was going to be competitive, but it was an event fight among names so I was going to watch it as a boxing guy. Again it is what it is.

I'd rather support that.

Support or don't support whatever you want. Like I said I got no dog in that fight in regards to you or anyone else watching this fight. I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. For me personally I'd just feel like less of a boxing fan not watching ANY major event in this sport involving a guy like Floyd Mayweather. I surely woulda watched all the Ali fights back in the day, including the Inoki fight. I saw Mercer in his MMA fight. I saw Toney in his MMA fight. I seen a ton of Butterbean fights although I didn't really seek them out so much as I had them feed to me via Top Rank cards. And I even watched the Butterbean vs Larry Holmes fight. Cuz I watch boxers & boxing.
