That boy getting hung up on the fact that he is the boxer but he is in for a surprise. Conor will destroy Floyd, mark my words.

That's crazy when you look at it that way.

Apparently if PPV's are similar to the Pacquiao fight, Conor will clear $100m. I'd say all Canelo's purses to date don't add up to $100m and he's meant to the main man in boxing after Floyds retirement.

Also, part of me actually wonders what the level of talent the UFC is in general. A guy from WWE went into UFC and won the Heavyweight title. Seriously, that's like Triple H coming into boxing and becoming WBC champ or something. Surely you have to question a sports level of talent when that happens. Of course a UFC fighter would still beat a boxer with the takedowns and stuff but i think for pure boxing, a UFC guy probably couldn't compete with a good amateur boxer.

It's easy to watch a UFC fight and say Conor has a good stand up game, but it's all relative isn't it? - Watch lower league game in any sport and the game looks fine because they're competing to similar level people and you kind of don't realise it's actually a low standard because it's all relative. Put one of those amateurs in the same with top level guys and then you will see it's night and day.

um, brock was actually a REAL wrestler before wwe. and his size is what won him those fights.

Oh please, the man sold out for a huge payday. No harm in that, it's the American way, he'll take his schooling like a man, make no excuses, and then probably become a promoter/manager.

No reason to feel bad for him..

I'm worried (NOT) that McGregor will be humbled and shamed so badly that he'll turn into the same quivering, weakling, worthless loser that Rhonda Rousey became after she got her @ss beat by Holly Holm.

Guy got choked out by Nate Diaz for 2 milli.

Getting outboxed/stopped by Floyd for 50 mill doesnt sound that bad lol

I'm worried about Floyd potentially landing at will, although I think Floyd will be super cautious in the first 2 rounds.

At least Conor is getting 8 or 9 figures, most wouldn't mind being ko'd for that
His pride might take a hit if things go poorly, but I wouldn't worry about him. He's bigger and stronger than Floyd and he isn't that bad of a boxer. As long as he keeps his composure I think he'll be alright. Certainly for that payday.

Yea thats definitely crazy when you really think about it.

With the money Conor's earning in boxing unless he just gets completely owned & embarrassed or says screw fighting entirely I'm gonna start selling f#ck you stripped suits, I think we see him again in the ring.

I believe he said he'll quadruple his net worth with this fight, which if we go by that potential $100M number you just brought up means he's likely earned $25M+, after taxes, in his years in the UFC. If he can parlay another big $50M, $100M payday or bigger rematch w/Floyd, if its somehow warranted, or a fight with Canelo or something how could you not take advantage of that? Or the UFC is gonna have to start paying him a whole lot more then the $10M+ he's been getting for his last few PPV's. Something is changing with this fight thats all I'm sure of it just matters what actually goes down in the ring.

And this won't be the last crossover fight either with all this money involved. If Joshua keeps getting popular & the UFC can promote Francis Ngannou into a more mainstream popular guy Joshua vs Ngannou could be a huge fight between a UFC guy & boxer in 2yrs or so.

He was in college or something and then ended up in WWE. I'd understand if he was an olympic level Wrestler and then went into UFC and won a title.

Do you think someone who was a pretty good amateur boxer or something could then end up in WWE wrestling, then waltz into boxing and become a world champion in their 4th fight?

Even if he won due to size, that speaks a lot about the talent level to me. If he had never competed at a high professional level and was able to win due to size alone, that just says that the talent in UFC was too low to deal with it. That would never happen in boxing.
