Wow! Yeah that's the word to describe a great fight. This is what boxing is about. To entertain the fans infront of a huge stadium and across different countries. This fight is the essence of boxing. Pure entertainment from srart to finish.

I only started watching the fight from the beginning of the 8th round and I saw Manny clearly winning 8,9, 10, and 11. The 12th imo could have gone either way but the fact that Manny won 4 clear rounds in my scorecard when I only started watching from the 8th tells me a lot about the scoring of this fight and the bs commentary.

I find it hard to believe Manny wouldn't have at least 3 rounds in the first seven rounds. The 117-111 scorecard is ridiculous coz I already saw Manny win 4 rounds even though I started watching from the 8th.

Having said that however I find it weird Manny only cries robbery when he loses to black fighters. He gets robbed by a white fighter and nothing, nadda. Aint tryna race bait but I just couldn't help but notice, I mean, it's blatant given how much Manny has cried in the past about robberies. Especially with the Floyd fight where his cries weren't even justifiable.

I'd like to think he was just saying it to create a headline/debate which is pretty common on first take. I mean, he can't have seriously believed that surely. When was Manny's last KO? 2009? I think he should retire I can't see why he's still fighting unless he's just done a terrible job with his money. I don't see him beating the very top WW's right now. The only thing really worth him doing was seeing if he could get the Mayweather rematch but now this has happened he's going to have to fight Horn again and Horn will probably do better next time.

Manny is still good, uou can see he's still has the stamina to go 12, bur you can also see he's slowed down in terms of feet speed and bounce.

As I said before. There is no orher fight left in him. He's an old dog. Still good. But fresher legs can kill him in the ring. It really left me the impression. Horn, if he catches Pac with one beautiful shot. He could have ended Pac. That's how vulnerable Pac is at thos stage of his career. He has gone down to a level that he is not anymote invincible. He still is a warrior with atg skills and all, but he is an old timer. Who's clock is about to wore out.

Only fight left if ever thee is one. Is the Mayweather fight.

No Mayweather fight. It's time to bow out Manny. You had a wonderful career.

Jeff Horn is the new WBO welterweight champion, taking the title from the legendary Filipino in an epic bout at Suncorp Stadium.

Horn raced out of the blocks and his early pressure proved too much for Pacquiao. The Australian put the foot on the gas and didn’t let it up.

The new champion used his larger frame to bully Pacquiao in the clinch, often forcing him against the ropes and scoring towards the body.

The local hero began to wilt in the latter rounds and the champion looked the more resilient as the fight went to the death.

In the end Horn’s early lead proved enough. The aggression and punishment he dealt in the opening stages was too much of a gap for Pacquiao to close in the stretch.

Did I forget to mention to you that Pacquiao lost to a school teacher.

Mayweather could get knocked in 4 seconds but it would still be better than losing to a school teacher.

The biggest winner tonight wasn't Horn, it was Bob Arum. He took a fight that had to be free because nobody would buy, it ended up a lot closer than expected, and now he's already got the rematch and the trilogy fight's all mapped out, on lock

Ya he made it a bit of a dirty fight.
But he wasn't the only one!

He was dealing with the head clashes too, both of them fought dirty on the inside, that was obviously horns game plan to rough up Manny. And it worked.

In what way did it work? He landed 50% less shots, was less than twice as accurate, got his face squashed and got beat up to the point that the ref almost stopped it.

He benefited of a robbery. That doesn't mean his plan worked. His face clearly tells us otherwise.

People are calling how they see it, a robbery.

You see Bradley praising Horn a lot during the fight. Atlas is not the biggest Pac fan of Pac(which was discuss here on so many Pac fights).

No people are calling what espn saw.
You can't call every fight (majority of fights) a robbery.
If this was a bigger named fighter would it be a robbery??

The only reason people are calling it a robbery is because they were not expecting horn to fight the way he did. He roughed Manny up early on, lost a couple of the middle rounds,and just when you think he's gone and it's all over he comes bulldozing back.
A great under dog story, no doubt he gets sparked by the other champs, but he did what he had to do against a not so impressive Pacquiao,no matter what espn says.
Their is a reason espn don't have big fights anymore.

The fight was entertaining! The decision was ALL WRONG, but the fight itself was fun to watch! We all don't want to watch Floyd run away from somebody for 12 rounds! Some of us like to see boxers trying to fight!
