Although I think Mannix is a freakin douche bag I love that podcast. He knows enough boxing to ask good questions and he lands good guests also.

he is a guy like steve kim! always bashing haymon and protecting gb and top rank! he is nothing special i listen just for the guests sometimes! i have never heard him say anything smart or of note in the 5 or 6 episodes ive listened too....

I'm not 100% sure he gets past Broner. Will be a good fight but if Broner has a proper preparation I give Broner the edge due to size and power. Mikey has probably just been asked a question and answered it but in saying that he still need to focus on only what's in front of him.

Crawford is probably too big and too skilled anyway even if he does beat Broner.

If Mikey wants to fight Linares or Lomachenko then how does Al Haymon have first option??
He can't deliver Linares or Lomachenko cause they are not signed to him so then what???
Is he gonna keep Mikey from earning a paycheck? If Mikey wants to unify titles then how can Al Haymon prevent him from unifying titles?

i think mikey said if haymon can offer something bigger as in money wise mikey cant turn that down! but if arum or oscar offer something bigger he can go fight there.... thats my guess... it was on the chris mannix podcast you can google and find the episode im sure... but we both know him and haymon have some kind of arrangement! if they didnt haymon would not let him fight on 2 big pbc undercards then get another big pbc main event against one of his most famous fighters... he is paying haymon 10% commission as an adviser fee its obvious

And that sounds fair. I would love to see Mikey fight either Linares, Loma, Crawford, or Pacquiao in the near future.
Hopefully Haymon can keep Mikey busy and keep getting him big fights.

i wanted to see the linares fight but mikey said gb told him he would have to sign a minimum of 3 fight deal and the linares fight would not be the first one! thats why mikey didnt sign with them! i dont like that... Linares should be calling out mikey and gb should let it happen! robert said on esnews multiple times to elie that golden boy people told him they will not let linares vs mikey happen! i think they know linares would get hurt by mikey... mikey vs easter should be next if not linares i think

Well I can see why Golden Boy would want Mikey to sign on for three fights to get Linares but that is bullshet.
But I think Mikey beats Easter right now. Easter wasn't too impressive a couple of days ago. But we'll see what happens. Mikey still has to get past broner and that's no easy fight for him. I can't believe he's a 4-1 favorite. It's definitely worth it to drop some money on broner.
