The Truth About The "Hublot" Blow... Shall The Evidence Be Disclosed In Detail?!

So The Last Shot Is Claimed To Have Been Low...

Clue 1: Unfortunately, Ward's glove touches and covers Krusher's Logo as well touches the top part of his belt line. How can the 10oz glove touch the top part of the belt line and at the same time cover most of the "B" ??

Clue 2: Look at when Kova is standing straight. Measure the distance from Kova's top belt line to the B from Hublot. There's no way a 10oz gloves width an occupy all that space...

Clue 3: given the first clues, if a person is bent doesn't the vantage point look different than the person standing straight from the top of the belt line to the B?

Clue 4: Look at Kovalev's body shock ripple when Ward lands... his glove is touching Kovalev's top belt line. His body doesn't ripple from the shock when the glove puffs the Hublot? You know why? Because that's a bubble creased out because he's bending. This is the laws of physics. If the Hublot was directly flush on Kova's groin guard we would've seen ripple shock instantly and a different face from Kovalev. Also, Ward's wrist bends when in contact with Kovalev's belt line, when his glove touches the top of his belt line! What does that mean? The Hublot was just a pocket of air because he was crouched...

It does look like that. I've changed my mind, not a low blow.

This is what the NSAC saw too.

Good observations. After being pressed by Max Kellerman Kov admitted in the post fight interview that the punch was on the "border" after asking for a translation.

I think Kov had a misunderstanding that low blows are borderline shots.

It looks like his protective cup implodes when Ward's glove lands.

Thanks for using the GIF I created, nice sig too. Very creative.

          Air bubble? Holy shieet!

Put some shorts on, bend forward, and see if you have an air bubble that forms in the genital area.

When bending over forward, the stomach compresses. The navel, which is normally 9-12 inches away from the genital area, is now 3-4 inches away. Your whole post is nonsense.

          Great Troll thread though.

You can see something move in the front and back of his shorts when the punch lands. That's his protective guard being impacted. The ripple effect is in his shorts, not his stomach.

Exactly. That gif is underexposed. I also have the original video. The moment there's impact Ward's glove is touching the top of the belt line. Therefore, Ward's glove touching the top belt line is also touching the Lower end of the B. That coverage of a 10oz glove is impossible. Look at a frame where Kovalev is standing straight, the distance of the top belt line to the B is many inches wider than a 10 oz glove width. therefore, the replay is just a bent illusion of Ward's glove touching both ends ONLY because he's bent over so of course the trunks are going to look reduced...

By the way, I'm ok on standby for posting a new video on exactly this.

                    "Hublot blow" is terribly redundant.
