They were low blows. Thats an illegal shot and Weeks should have seen them and penalised Ward. No questions, those are the rules.
Some were legal? I counted 2 that were low. The last one being one if the two. The belt line punches were legal.

And so what else did we expect? Weeks to call the low blows for what they were? I never hold my breath thinking Ward's gonna get called out for any fouls. I learned that years ago with him. And like I've said before, it's wacko, because he has the talent to not have to resort to that b.s., yet he ALWAYS does some fouls in every fight... headbu tts, excessive grabbing, low blows, you name it. And NEVER gets called out for it. Not like he's an isolated fighter either. How many YEARS did Wlad grab and hold before he was FINALLY called out for it? And there are others, unfortunately. It's just one of the skroo-ed up things about the sport.

What are your thoughts on Kovalevs headlocks and rabbit punching?

And you don't see a problem with that? The last thing people see before the fight is over is a series of 3 questionable shots, with the last being an unquestionable foul, then the ref stops the fight. He should have seen that. Its clear as day. Then for NSAC to call that legal just throws more shade at the credibility of boxing.

And off on a tangent, just wait until August when we have to explain to people how to score a fight to show how Floyd beat Conor

Unfortunately for you Bob there is actual video evidence that proves you are wrong and lying. No one wants to admit their organisation ****ed up but sometimes you have to do it, Bob.

Same old guys in this thread whining again. Just let it go. Kovalev got man handled.

Did I like the stoppage, no, but its hard to argue when Kovalev didn't protest then kneeled on the canvass for like 10 seconds.

Next, the last shot was the only one that can be argued as low, and the fight was being stopped before Ward even threw the punch.

Just accept the "Krusher" got beat. Yall dudes are grown a*s men making excuses for this guy who's done nothing but talk ****, and insult his opponent. You make your bed, you gotta lay in it.

This guy wasn't going to win under any scenario in a rematch with a boxer like Ward. Just accept it and move on. Even fat Dan Rafael is supporting Ward on this one, and that's not usual. Why? Because he's sceen enough boxing to know better. Kovalev was looking for a way out.

The first punch was low too.

The second even dragged off kovalev's leg so I'd think it's low too, but it's the only one with no angle to see exactly what happened.

The shovel hooks Ward is throwing is giving people an excuse because his hand ends up somewhere else, but he is going right through Kova's nuts.

What? You need to wake up...Conor is going to get beat like Gatti did. It'll be savage. You need to leave that bias at home. That's the only thing that could explain you thinking Mayweather won't completely dominant that novice.

Replay May-Pac and insert Conor in place of Manny. Don't think Floyd is going to suddenly turn into GGG and become an aggressive fighter. The man is 40 and hasn't fought in two years. He's going to dance around to an easy points win. McG nose will bleed and that's it.

Take off your rose colored lenses if you think this will be anything other than DEFENSIVE mastery

Don't ever compare Conor to Manny. McGregor can't throw combos and his hands are slow as ****. There won't be anything to dodge because he'll be throwing at most three shots at a time.

Floyd won't "dance" because it won't be necessary. McGregor will get stopped or quit in the corner. Regardless of his age.
