And NEVER gets called out for it. Not like he's an isolated fighter either. How many YEARS did Wlad grab and hold before he was FINALLY called out for it? And there are others, unfortunately. It's just one of the skroo-ed up things about the sport.

Ward does that too, Kovalev just not as blatant. AND Kovalev should've blasted Ward right in the ***els to retaliate for the low blows. I know I would've. Teach these fouling chumps a lesson they won't forget.

And, here, WATCH this GIFT from the ref, when he should have instead deducted a point from your hero:

Dude, it's fake. Did you even read the article?

Bennett spoke with Weeks, and the veteran referee saw no issue with the punches that were landed by Ward. Bennett, who also felt the punches looked good, completely backs the referee in this situation and said the stoppage was well done. - See more at: //krikya360.com/nsac-exec....cPG07wHJ.dpuf
I asked [Weeks], ‘Do you want to look at the instant replay, and he said no. He said I’m satisfied they were on the beltline.’ And it was clear from my viewpoint that the punches were on the beltline." - See more at: //krikya360.com/nsac-exec....cPG07wHJ.dpuf

So you basically ignored the question. Predictable. Kovalevs fouls are ok for you I guess. Insufferable! Your bias is evident.

Lastly, you sound like a child with that "your hero" crap. This is a boxing forum where we discuss fights. You seem incapable of doing so without it being personal.

in this gif, were either of those two punches low..... ?

            no..... ?

then, why did Kovalev fake a low blow..... ?

you guys call Ward a dirty fighter..... well, what is worse..... a punch slipping low, or taking a dive?

if Ward is a dirty fighter, then why did he hold back instead of finishing Kovalev off when he had him hurt?..... that would have been perfectly legal, and the fight would have ended there

Ward saved Kovalev then, and Weeks saved him moments later

you guys are just making silly excuses

you should have the class to admit that Kovalev was done

People here speak as if comebacks never happened. A break between rounds could change everything. Kovalev was hurt at that moment, but claiming what could have happened in rounds 9-12 is pure fantasy. The matter is the fight ended on full swing low blows and the NSAC executive should be on the receiving end of one.

Kovalev was already looking for a way out, HE WAS DONE !!

Weeks did not see the punch, and he did not take Kovalev seriously..... because Kovalev had already tried milking a foul earlier in the round

This SHOULD put an end to all of the talking, but people will continue to cry until the next great thing comes along that they can put their faith in..... or think they can lol!

So, you honestly think kovalev was heading for a win then? I just want to get that on a screenshot.

                      What he said is that comebacks happen e.g ward-kovalev I, marquez-pacquiao I, pacquiao-marquez IV, joshua-klitschko etc etc

And you're lying to yourself if you think you know what would, you like everyone else can make an educated guess, maybe people are forgetting kovalev was wobbled in those last 50 seconds, he was hurt, not so tired he was stumbling around, he was defending well near the end and the end of the round was fast approaching.
