Absolute proof Ward blows weren't low

Pretty sure the fight was rigged. Its sort of typical with these renowned american fighters to buy the refs, and judges etc. A lot of money invested in ward that he really cant demand, so gotta keep him winning at least.
Kovalev was fading bad before then though, and he was softer in the body than the first fight (at least this time, I noticed he looked soft during the in-ring face off) and he was working a lot, head hunting and missing, instead of investing to the body, thus he wasn't going to win anyway.Last edited by SplitSecond; 06-18-2017, 05:08 AM.

That was a textbook stoppage. The ropes weren't holding him up so Weeks couldn't rule a KD. There is no standing 8 count. Kovalev wasn't protecting himself. What was Weeks supposed to do?

Thought the fight was competitive up until the 8th...think most non biased people would agree it seemed Ward was going to pull away...good chess match in both fights but I don't have any desire to see a 3rd fight...Kovalev can say whatever but he was hurt and did look a bit winded a round or two earlier if I remember....clearly Ward's toughest opponent to date though...so used to seeing Ward barely even have a glove on him, Kovalev has him all marked up in no time lol
