And only 4 of his 22 pro fights have been in the state of Texas with ONLY 1 of those being in Dallas. That's crazy he should be fighting in Dallas which is one of biggest markets in the country. Instead Haymon has had him literally fighting in NY, Canada and everywhere but Texas.
That's because he was on undercards

And? Golden boy has a ESPN card this month at the cowboys facility. The main event has nothing to do with Dallas but the fight is there because Vergil Ortiz blue chip prospect from dallas. The entire undercard is full of young Texas golden boy fighters. Thats the only reason they stagging that card there. Ortiz turned pro 8 months ago and already fought more times in Dallas then Spence has his entire career. Whether undercards or smaller main events Spence should of had some of his showcase fights in Dallas on his way up to build a local following.

But when I go to Cincy they have gyms all over the place and at least one professional card a month and a lot of amateur cards. It's what I would consider a boxing town. I'm going to this card in a couple a weeks. My friend is training a fighter on the card

Isnt Carlos Linas doing shows in Detroit anymore?

Anyways, you're not really accurate when you say people wont come. Tampa was a ghost town other than club shows, yet Gary Shaw took a chance and we did Lacy-Reid at the Forum and put well over 10,000 people in the building. It did so well that Deguardia brought Tarver-Jones 3 right after it and then Golden Boy brought Wink-Quartey. And thats despite the fact that we have the Bucs, the Lightning, and the Rays......

I grew up in the same Dallas suburb as Errol (DeSoto). Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually a trailer park trash motherf**ker with a mullet who lives in Shelby, North Carolina.
Lol i see why you root hard for B. Sutherland.

The main event will dictate where the fight takes place the majority of the time. Notice the last time Spence fought in Texas, it was on the undercard of Charlo, a Texas native

Last I heard of Linas was he was promoting Vernon Paris. I haven't talked to Paris in years, since a little bit after he lost to Judah. Salita Promotions is really the only one around here putting on fights. Antonio Gates (played for the Chargers and from Detroit) dipped his toe in the water for a minute and put on a couple shows. The Shields show at MGM Casino had a nice turnout. The venue wasn't big but it sold out and people at the Casino were surprised it was a such a big deal. Salita is doing another show for her at the Masonic Temple this month.

People will come out for decent names. But there really aren't many people putting on cards here. I see a lot of small MMA cards being held at the local union halls and VFW's. Don't see the same for boxing.

Especially as a young kid and need tons of showcase fights coming up. Apples and oranges comparing foreign fighters. We are not talking about bringing Errol to a foreign land like Kazakhstan we trying to get this kid in Dallas.
Errol will be just fine. DSG never had a championship fight in Philly. I don't remember B-Hop having a championship fight in Philly. Floyd never had a championship fight in Flint, MI, and he did just fine. It would've been nice for Errol to have been groomed in TX, but he's the IBF champ now, and he now has fans on both sides of the pond. His hometown fight is on the way!

The Truth vs. Canelo at Cowboys stadium will be the next great Superfight.
