Let's analyze this.
Pacquiao wasn't gunshy until he got slept by Marquez. He tried to KO Bradley the first time and failed. But he tried. After the sleeping, he hasn't actually tried to knock anybody out. Who cares about winning when you're a KO artist who no longer goes for a knockout, finds Jesus, etc.? No, Marquez ruined him psychologically.
Pac's fierceness was Nowhere close to that after Margs. It was only because the pac-jmm fight was competitive and he got knocked down that the fierce pac tried to go for the ko.

Michael Spinks' L to Mike Tyson. He's rich as f#ck, but that dude has been in public like 11 times in nearly 30 years since that fight.

Vargas and Mayorga could never take a punch as good after Trinidad KOed them. I think Chavez ruined Taylor not the other way around. GGG may not have ruined Brook but he hurt him. Spence finished the job. Kovalev ruined Pascal although Pascal was never that good. Crawford may have helped ruin Gamboa. Pavlik ruined Jermaine Taylor. Froch ruined Butte. There are tons of fights that ruined fighters and those are just a few.

Taylor & Chavez weren't the same after that fight.
Jose Luis Castillo was ruined by the two fights with Corrales, as was Corrales
Vasily Jirov was ruined by his fight versus James Toney
Michael Grant after Lennox Lewis
James Page by Jose Luis Lopez
Tim Austin by Raul Marquez
