Pascal has looked bad for a while now. He has such a low work rate and his accuracy sucks. I felt kind of bad for him tonight. He was getting picked off and hurt by Alvarez's jab. I give him credit for pushing himself to throw punches in a few of those rounds...but that's what fighters are supposed to do....if they want to win. I get the feeling his heart really isn't in boxing anymore.

      Great performance by Alvarez.

      I like his style:

      Can take a punch.
      Great posture.
      Good defense.
      Good at countering shots.
      Non-stop jab.

He doesn't have much power, but I saw very solid boxer tonight, I'm impressed

Fonfara had no chance. Probably got concussed by that first left that hit him.

There's an old saying in the music industry about bands who quit too early.... they left some money on the table. And that's where Pascal is now. He can slide down a notch to fighting 'good' mid level opposition, in Canada, and he'll be fine making decent paychecks for a few years, then retire.

But what happens to Alvarez vs Stevenson? I don't think much of anything good will happen to him.

              E. Alvarez looked like he was sparring against Pascal. Pretty boring fight, Jean just didn't have enough power to really make it a closer fight.

Somebody like Gvozdyk or Beterbiev should try to get that Alvarez scalp. Stevenson sounded reluctant to even mention fighting anybody...

yeah but she had countless horrible cards for decades but the mayweather vs canelo was just on a big stage thats why she got fired

Huge drop off in talent after Ward, Stevenson, and Kovalov...
