I see this as a bad move for Mickey, what are the rewards for stepping up another weight division to fight a non-title bout when you've just captured a title at 135. Legacy wise, wouldn't it have made much more sense to try and secure a unification fight with Linares at 135 before jumping up in weight. Dont get me wrong this will be an entertaining fight if AB dedicates himself to making weight and the financial rewards will be greater but just think Mickey has been ill advised on this move. Not holding my breath anyway as AB could get nicked before this fight even materialises, the kids an arrogant dumb ****!!!

The weight issue is why I would have preferred Crawford vs. Garcia over Garcia vs. Broner, because Broner can't be trusted to make 140! Penalty should be $500K per half-pound! WAR MIKEY!

Every opponent Broner fights gots to worry about Broner coming in on weight & how they gotta accept the fight damn near however big Broner is cuz 1)it'll get you called a ***** if you were cancel a fight if he's too overweight by a certain % of fans & 2)cuz the money is likely some of the better money they've seen. Even if they don't wanna let a guy get away with bs Broner's so beatable at this point & yet still pays so well + likely still gets your name out there just a lil more that you gotta fight this dummy if he comes in 10lbs over & a commission will let you fight.
