Comments Thread For: Sanchez Expects Golovkin To Pound on Canelo in Second Half

1st round will be a cautious round from both guys. G will be pumping that jab. hes gotta keep the pressure on canelo and not allow him to get those flashy combos off otherwise canelo wins the rounds. rounds 11 and 12 will be the most important if it goes the distance. Canelo will get the decision if he wins the last 2 in a close fight...guaranteed

I know Canelo's handlers waited until GGG showed some age related kinks in his armor to suddenly decide to fight him but I think all the careful cherry picking of opponents will come back to haunt him. When Alverez realizes that he's fighting someone who can actually hurt him and isn't quite as far over the hill as his handlers think he'll wilt. I expect Alverez to look good the first 5 rounds or so throwing countershots that will look good but do nothing to stop GGG from coming in . I expect Alverez to take a beating in the second half and either be stopped or lose a decision. All this talk about the Jacobs fight showing GGG is over the hill in my mind are missing the fact the Jacobs is just really that good and would knock Alverez out on his worst day. Welcome to the big boy division Canelo, Dela Hoya can't save ya now!

It's hilarious how these fanbois led by Jezabel "dirty" sanchez BELIEVE that because gigi jabbed devil lock in the eyes, crocodile arms, zero defense always runs foward lemule, that it somehow relates to every potential opponent whos not a bar scab like lemule.
Canelo has longer reach despite being shorter so hell be the one landing the jab like he did jr who had way longer reach, gigis predictable with his always the exact same punch ,jab using azz. Canelo is not going to be scared to trade with gigi because he's already said he seen the film we all seen of gigis prior fights, where he clams up whenever hes hit by a puncher,he turns robotic & shells up when hes put on back foot. He didn't want to trade w/jacobs because of this.

This is some straight up gggroupie logic right here,so jacobs a guy who was almost ko'd cold by featherfisted mora,& who has never beaten anyone good(besides gigi) is now some supposed beast, despite him being a worse underdog than Jr was vs Nelo, despite EVERYONE saying hed be an easy ko including sanchez. So your logic is that since youve always been so SURE of gigi KO'ing canelo & being your god, surely this vacant paper belt glass jaw, would ko canelo if he beat who you worship & claim would destroy canelo. Surely youll still claim you think jacobs lost, knowing you don't believe that deep down or you wouldn't say all the excuses you do,& you wouldn't suddenly rate a b level fighter as someone who'd supposedly destroy canelo. Fanboi logic.

I can see the fight playing out like this,or even ggg getting a ko with a body shot,,some people think he slowed down because of the Jacobs fight, but Jacobs is a good fighter and big too,so I'm not surprised golovkin didn't ko him,a win is a win and that was a big one for golovkin, actually I think it was good he went the 12 rounds,i think that was better for him before facing canelo

Everybody thinks that g string is this big, bad unstoppable machine..
End of the day he's just a man and he breathes, bleeds, and hurts like the rest of us.. So yeah, I see him backing off a bit after Canelo lands a few combos on his ass!
