Also, GGG's performance was a lot better and he fought an undefeated brook. Cut the ring off better, landed the jabs much cleaner, controlled the distance better. After 3 rds kell was done with ggg.Originally posted by SniXSniPe View PostSpence fought Brook after GGG, in which he already suffered a broken orbital bone and had that on the back of his mind.
Brook came down from weighing around 170 to make WW.
Go ahead, spin it as hard as you want to try to make GGG look bad . This is why nobody listens to the Anti-GGG cumguzzlers
Let's pretend like Brook didn't slow down in output later in the fight, and that he wouldn't have against GGGOriginally posted by kafkod View PostBrook was 3 rounds up by the 6th and clearly outboxing Spence till he started gassing then got the eye injury. i posted this in your other thread about GGG-Brook
never looked too much into that fight. in fact it was GGG detractors the one that did because they claimed that he got outboxed and exposed. when in reality the guy just went ball to the walls because he knew that brook wasn't gonna hurt him.

Completely different styles, Golovkin and Spence.
Errol's is more like a bigger Porter who bullrushes and always ends up in a clinch. It's a very ugly style, but, I have to admit, effective. I just have to wonder why not many do it, even if only to last the distance. The hell with the opponent wanting distance, which Felix Diaz, for example, didn't do as promised. The hell with boxing style, just bullrush your way and force a clinch. Rinse and repeat.

I consider the Spence win a heck of a lot more credible and spectacular than the GGG beating of Kell by far. Just by simple facts.
Spence beat Brook at HIS division, his weight class. GGG took 5 rounds to stop a guy that went up 2 weight divisions, that shouldn't be bragged about at all.
Spence going skill for skill with the man at the man's division, was able to take the shots and return fire head to head. He proved he is at the upper echelon of the division.
Going 11 rds to stop the man of the division to me is far more impressive than going 5 rds to stop a blown up welterweight.
