    In the past, former four division world champion Miguel Angel Cotto had stated in several interviews that 2017 would be his final year in the sport. But given the current landscape and the circumstances which caused his career to stall out. Cotto has been out of the ring since November 2015, when he lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. He was scheduled to return in February, to face James Kirkland in the main event of an HBO Pay-Per-View. The fight was cancelled after Kirkland withdrew with injury.

        Miguel cotto did what was best for miguel cotto. Miguel cotto will continue relationship with GB until miguel cotto sees fit.

          How about Golden Boys puts those guys against each other? Alsways see guys calling for Cotto to fight those guys but those guys should be fighting each other at the chance at guys like Cotto.

            Is Matthysse currently JWW or WW?

            Whereas Cotto's been fighting in the MW division, although he belongs at 154.

            I agree it would be a good fight but there is a weight difference.
