Yea, I'm afraid you are right. It's a bit of a shame, since I like those really el grande fight in stadiums.

The fight was good & it was quite loud when the fight got going but the stadium was embarrassingly empty right up until the ring entrances for the main card. Two guys next to me turned up just as Wlad was entering the ring, took photos of the entrances, the fight & then left as soon as Wlad got stopped. They were there for 40 mins ma. 1 of them even sat and played scrabble on his phone between rounds.. I was getting annoyed with all the casuals just talking absolute bullschit haha, 1 guy said outside 'That was easy for Joshua, Wlad is a bum'

What is there really to gain from it though, he's already had exposure to the German public from the first fight & regardless of where they fight they'll have that crowd. It would be big but I think he's got some better options to build his brand.

Why would they have it in the US? They want maximum profit, below 10k attendance in America would be a massive fail. Fat yanks don't show up to fights, they're too fat.

To build the popularity of the fighter and open up bigger streams of revenue worldwide. Sure he'll get bigger gates here in the UK but if he can get the American PP numbers as well as UK & other global markets then he'll be earning way more in the long run.

Not going to happen. Americans aren't even interested in their own heavyweights. He'll never become a massive star over there.
