that is small minded thinking. This fight is on PPV. I would assume that even though Ward probably has a high guaranteed purse, he still will have an upside number. Why would you not take 45 minutes out of your day to do something that just might help your event succeed? Maybe it will, maybe it wont, but if you have an upside why not try it anyway?

Especially if he wants Roy's job at some point (because I don't think he's got much longer in the ring for boxing). If it was Kov that didn't show, that's still bad... Though that doesn't seem like the way he handles things. (Since there seems to be some debate about it.)
