Hard to put a % on it... but let's put it this way I'm pretty sure a few years ago he'd have stopped this version of AJ.

Wlad still looked in his prime to me even better. He damn near won and was about to win a decision.

Klitschko is reaching the end of his prime. He probably has 1 or 2 good years left.

Klitschko wouldn't habe done anything different at any other point in his career. Probably wouldn't have got off the floor in the 5th. He was fighting for his boxing career and it brought out the best I him.

His punch count has gone down so dramatically, whilst he might have been shifting feet he wasn't shifting the fists compare his punch count from the Jennings fight to now. it's down by 50% so I say AJ fought 50%.
Wladimir that is capable of throwing 500-700 through twelve would KO Anthony Joshua.

It's deceptive because he has a sense of urgency we've rarely ever seen from him so it leads you to believe he's still got it. But, his punch quality was horrible compared to what he was doing in his prime. Jab had nothing on it, left hook was pushed, accuracy was poor, leaping into punches, etc. I'd say he was mentally refreshed, 100%, just as good as he ever was. Stamina and fitness was also damn good. But, his boxing ability was around 65%. And you can't say that was all AJ because AJ didn't move much.

According to most who know how to score a fight, I think Wladimir would have been on a way to a win before the incorrect knockdown and premature stoppage in the 11th.

This still wasn't the Klitschko of prime old who could absolutely shut out an opponent, it wasn't a better version of himself that fought Tony Thompson.

I disagree, I think you can't say that he is in his prime at age 41 with nearly a 2 year layoff. I also think younger Klitschko would've definitely gotten off the floor, as you have more pride as the champion vs the challenger. Younger Klitschko was also much more accurate and precise with his punches and not as afraid to throw them.Regardless, I also don't think that the Klitschko who fought Joshua was a shadow of himself either.

To me personally he looked better. He was just fighting a young monster. Wlad is still at his peak. Dude stays in tremendous shape all the time and is dedicated to boxing thats why he still is able to perform this well.
