Lomachenko is a special fighter but heaping this kind of praise on him doesn't do him any favor. The first time he has an "off night" people will remember statements like this and will excoriate him for it.

We already seen he can be beat so an off night in the future is not out of the question.

If Rogan had said this about Errol Spence Jr the OP would have Joes **** firmly planted inside his cheeks. We don't need a great white hype racist thread every day fktards

It's amazing how truly ****** most people on here are.
This is sports ENTERTAINMENT. These are not real fights. There are rules. There is an octogenarian male wearing lots of make-up, a pinky ring, trying to add class (perhaps?) to this staged fight put on for the entertainment of audiences.
It's why Floyd comes in on a chariot wearing a sombrero carried by shirtless gladiators playing another one bites the dust. It's why many of you look at pictures of these athletes' cars, girls, etc...the level of skill is secondary to entertainment value in this industry.
Floyd learned that, and parted ways w Arum, joined the WWE, dancing w stars, publicly changed his nickname thrice, etc...to develop a public persona. He had the technical skills early on; he didn't become "the best ever" until he started marketing his brand on social media.

Loma has an extremely entertaining style. Go watch a random highlight reel on YouTube. This is all casuals care about, you ****ing apes. Why can't you understand that only boxing fans (i.e. the kind of people on here) give a **** about this sport. It's like NASCAR or golf. Go on one of those message boards for a week, and it will blow your mind bc most of us are casuals to that sport's insiders.
But a tiger woods comes along, and he's the greatest ever to most casuals. Hmmm, might it have something to do w being a racial underdog, a loud, passionate player of a typically quiet sport, Stanford educated, young, clean cut, family man (at the time), etc...???
Was he the greatest ever? Who the **** knows? That's a value-laden question that is fun to discuss, but will never have an answer. "Purists" will argue that Jack Nicklaus is better bc Tiger needed his shoulders to stand on, and then others will accuse those people of being racist, and I hope you see the parallels here.
But many of you dips have zero idea that you're sitting around debating corporate, athletic ENTERTAINMENT. Therefore, do not be surprised when realists like Rogan hype people like Ronda, Conor, Loma, Floyd, etc...as the greatest ever because just look at the numbers...name ONE fighter who has sold more PPVs than Ronda not named Conor. I'll save you the trouble; you can't. Therefore, it's quite easy to argue that in the UFC Conor & Ronda are the greatest.
In boxing, if Loma can market himself properly (as all of the greats did), then he has that star quality. He is a diamond in the rough, and people realize that this is a business involving many corporate en******; it's therefore about viewership first, skill second.
        So, Rogan has a point.
You want greatest REAL fighters ever? Go to Rwandan jungles or deep into Canadian forests or in most federal penitentiaries.
You're looking in the wrong place here.

Watch Rogan's commentary when fighters make their ring entrance, he's intense and makes hyperbole comments to get his point across that a fighter is good - I've heard him change his mind about a fighter mid-fight

There is always at least one liability that makes even potentially great fighters non perfect. There is always something that makes them beatable. Even fighters that have gone their entire careers without a loss we're beatable.

Loma has a couple liabilities that I can see. He will never be perfect. No fighter ever has been or ever will be. Will his style be hard to beat for 98% of his opposition? Sure. There is always that other 2% out there lurking.

Rogan can release his inner fan boy from time to time, like the rest of us i suppose.

I like listening to him though. His podcast is cool, and he's good when doing UFC events.
