I don't really like the ****zines because they are always late with stories but I usually buy those special issues of Ring ****zine.

So far RING has the votes . . . count me in I'm for RING MAG also. Even experts refer to it as the "BIBLE of BOXING" so who are we to dispute that.

Originally posted by QueenCityI've been subscribing to Ring for a few years and I love the content of the ****zine, but the book has some serious issues. I cant believe they have no website either. Also I subscribe to both Ring and Ring extra and I have no idea how many issues I'll get or when I'll get them. It's like you get an issue in January that talks about the fights from December and is maked Summer '05-- I'm like what the hell?
but with all that said I still love the ****zine

The Ring, KO, & World Boxing are all published by the same company.
They may even have some of the same writers contributing to ach mgazine.
I first starting reading the Ring back in '81. Bert Sugar was the editor-in-chief.....& the ****zine was an absolute piece of art.
It was so full, so detailed....beautiful photographs....great stories.
The recap of the more important fights was incredible.....& the little synopsis of the lesser fights was the the best thing about a perfect boxing ****zine.
