His next fight after the Smith fight is against a guy who hasn't had a quality win in years at a weight 4.5 pounds above middleweight.

Zurdo-fights at a higher weight class but will probably get his shot sooner rather than later once Canelo shows what he's hiding beneath his skirt when he ducks GGG again.

Honestly, golovkin should REALLY think about this. If he fights cotto at a cw, he can make money, and it's less risk because cotto is 36 now. Canelo is young and has all the time he needs, plus I think golovkin loses to canelo. If he lost to cotto, he could use weight as the excuse.

It comes back to this again however...golovkin is going to have to know his place as the B-side, and will have to accept the A-side demands, otherwise he won't get either fight.

He was pacquiaos last stoppage in god knows how long, trout almost shut him out on one scorecard, margarito beat him into submission, canelo boxed rings around him, mayweather was so confident against cotto that he stood in front of him and fought way more offensively than normal. hed get massacred against ggg, and jacobs too for that matter. but as i said freddy, if you and miguel are so confident then lets get this thing on... otherwise shut the **** up and keep looking for kirkland level opponents.
