I wonder if they will go ahead with the event with a late replacement? I wonder if they will reschedule? I wouldn't if I was team Parker.

Probably a 60-40 chance they'll dig someone up.

According to their timeline, he injured his back 5 weeks before the fight. Even though they said they would be in NZ 6 weeks beforehand. They were never here.
I've got some swampland to sell you dude. There's a difference between giving someone the benefit of the doubt, and being ******.

Conjanu, Zhang or Rudenko? I would like Hammer or Miller to take it but I don't know what kind of shape Miller is in. Hammer has been in camp for an upcoming fight against a blownup CW. Fujimoto also has a fight coming so maybe him... Zhang & Fujimoto are in the region & would never get a title shot so I wouldn't be surprised if it's either of them.Last edited by joe strong; 04-23-2017, 03:54 PM.

If I remember right, Fujimoto was lined up as an opponent for Parker a few years ago, but pulled out just before it was announced - so DUCO maybe have some bad blood with him still.
None of these options are exciting, which is a damn shame. But we can't expect a fight on two weeks notice to be any better than what was originally planned, I guess.
Quietly hoping for Miller to put his hand up, though.

Who the **** has to be forced to sign a contract for a World title fight for millions of dollars?
......
The fury team that's who.
I guarantee that people will believe it
most likely a large section of a certain fanbase will accept it
