On Friday, Covington police released body camera footage which shows former four division world champion Adrien Broner argue with officers during his arrest early Thursday morning. According to WCPO, who obtained the video, Broner asked officers to give him a citation instead of put him in handcuffs over an open warrant for a public intoxication charge in 2014.

The exposure events like this get is partially responsible for crippling the sport. Fighters crave attention but they now live in a time where it is just as easy, if not easier to get, with foolishness outside of the ring.

I'm not saying fighters should be robots that don't have a personality outside of the ring, but the balance needs to be right. First and foremost, attention should go to those putting in the work in the ring.

Problem isn't unique to boxing. Media in general, people are more famous for the **** they do outside of their actual craft.
