Whilst i agree with that, i understand why they have made the fight. Nobody knows how long Klitschko is going to be around and Joshua v Klitschko is selling 90,000 tickets + it will do a crazy amount of PPV's in the UK, you can't pass that opportunity up. Hearn is a business man and that amount of revenue overrides anything when you're talking about these numbers.

Same for Joshua, this is boxing and anything can happen, he might have fought another decent fighter for much less and got knocked out. He might get a bad injury and end his career.

The reward for this one is far greater than the risk and that's why its happening. As i say, we're not just talking about an arena show on free TV, this is 90,000 tickets and a huge PPV. These opportunities don't come along often in boxing.

Apparently Joshua is getting a guaranteed £15m (about $20m)

When you're on a layoff for the amount of time Klitschko was on and at his age that's his worst enemy or should say is the worst enemy for an older fighter. When you're older the reflexes slow down and you need to be active. After a long layoff like that at 41 and going straight into a fight with a dangerous fighter in Joshua. Probably ill advised.

I've got Joshua winning by KO anywhere between 6 and 9 rounds.

Here is something the great Joe Louis said when he was 37. He said, when I fought Max Schmelling I was 22 years old and I was able to take many punches and shots, but now I've been knocked out with just 2 shots.

History and Time are not on (41 year old) Klitschko's side. Let's take a look :

Rocky Marciano KO's an old Joe Louis (37 years old)

Larry Holmes KO's an old Muhammad Ali (38 years old)

Mike Tyson KO's an old Larry Holmes (38 years old)

Wladimir K as timid as his 6'6 but is, has far better pedigree and technique - the man is an Olympic Gold medalist for starters, and is a 3 time heavyweight championship and was undisputed for how many years??? Let's not put the cart b4 the horse - Ortiz is dam good with dam good technique but dammmmm

Eddie Hearn made a big mistake taking this fight which mind you he only took because he saw Fury beat him. If Wlad had beaten Fury I guarantee you %100 this fight wouldn't be happening. It's too soon they'd say. We'll have to wait and see.
The epic war we witnessed with Molina is the perfect preparation for AJ. The invaluable experience he gained from those gruelling 1.5 rounds will really pay off when he steps into the ring with Wlad. AJ will be thanking Eddie Hearn for providing such a great opponents to ready him to take on WLad.

I think he picked the wrong winner but either man would beat Ortiz in my opinion. Ortiz is too fat, too old and too slow to be the best heavyweight in the world.

                Quite possibly.

I said on here last week that if he loses his first real test, can he go down as the biggest hype job of all time? Not that losing to Wlad makes you a hype job still..

We have had hype jobs before but Joshua has sold incredible amounts of PPV's, arena tickets, made a huge amount of money and now sold out a 90,000 capacity stadium. That's another level and he hasn't even fought anybody that good yet.

Funny how most of the HW's are picking Klitschko to win. Don't worry though lads, i'm sure all the armchair warriors on here know more than the likes of Ortiz.

... I'm afraid that Klitschko can't clinch big, younger guys... but let's see...
