Both Kessler n froch were perennial p4p entrants

Froch was the clear #2 in his era and always found ways to win...sorry...he was the definition of stand out....he fought everyone n only guy he couldn't get by was ward

Both only lost to ward(hall of famer) each other, and Kessler lost to ATG 168er Calzaghe

Froch and Kessler were elite fighters

I like how you guys are trying to denigrate ward's resume in a sideways fashion

If you crap on him, no one active today has an impressive resume

Only Pacquaio an ATG has a better resume between active fighters
I consider froch and kessler just elite fighters but not hof. Andre ward has a better resume than him also and you missed that.

Froch will get in i think.

I'm not sure Kessler will. He was a very good fighter but lost his first real big fight v Calzaghe quite clearly, lost to Ward via headbutts, went 1-1 with Froch. Apart from the first Froch fight, he's lacking big wins. Although there's no shame at all in losing to Calzaghe and Ward anyway.

Abraham i'm not sure he will get i. He had a good run at MW but whether it will be recognised as HOF worthy due to the opposition i'm not sure. His time at SMW hasn't been that impressive so i think that might also put a cloud over his decent MW career. I wouldn't be surprised if he did get in though.

All 3 are first-ballot Hall of Famers and are among the best middleweights or super middleweights of all time. If you disagree, you either hate European fighters or have some kind of stick up your ass about Andre Ward.

        Froch: 4x SMW champion
        Kessler: 5x SMW champion
Abraham: 1x MW champion, 2x SMW champion

        War Europa!

          Froch is getting in.
Kessler is not or should not at least
Abraham I don't think should either but the hall of fame in Boxing is not exactly the same as other sports where you really need to be the elite level guys. There's lots of guys in the boxing HOF that probably don't belong there.

Adrien Broner is like a 3 division 4 times champion...is he a first ballot HOF too? Belts don't t mean squat anymore in this watered down version of boxing. Kessler is not a HOF fighter and neither is Abraham IMO... Froch is for sure getting in for all his wins over top guys.

              Kessler has:
              Thobela
              Siaca (Then WBA champ)
Mundine (future WBA champ. Fought in Australia)
              Lucas (Former WBA)
              Beyer (WBA/WBC unification)
Andrade (undefeated no. 1 contender. Went on to get robbed by Bute)
              Calzaghe (unification loss in Wales)
Sartison (undefeated. regained WBA championshiop. Sartison went on to win WBA himself later)
Ward (loss in jOakland. We all know what happened.)
              Froch (undefeated. Regained WBC championship)
              Allan Green
              Magee (regained WBA)
              Froch II (loss in England)
2 loses against the best SMW's of all time, and one against Froch who is very close to be among them. Kessler managed to become part of this group, seen as an elite, when SMW was hottest - That is pretty amazing.

They probably aren't good enough but some boxers made it into the hall that weren't any better than them.

Listen to froch i could beat any super middleweight at mo. Come out retirement then fight degale or you going to be chicken again when he challenged you before. You beat Kessler your claim to fame. Can't call groves fight as he not even a world champion. And he put u on ya backside.

Yep. It's a very solid resume. Personally I don't think it's enough for the HOF, but having said that it's a better resume than some of those who has gotten in in recent years (McGuigan, Gatti and more.)

Yeah it's definitely not set in stone. I don't know if he should get in either.
