You start talking "robbery," and that's when Ward will take issue with what you're saying about his controversial victory over Kovalev on November 19 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

I'm no expert like a lot of others on this forum but imho Ward was clearly surprised he won. His corner showed desperation and Virgil was certainly nervous for his prize pupil. Obviously Kovalev didn't do enough to convince the judges so it is what it is. Whichever man learned the most from the first fight will win the next one.

Boxing Rule #1. DON'T leave it up to the judges.
          Rule #2. See RULE #1.

EVERYONE agrees though. Kovalov CLEARLY won the 1st half and Ward the 2nd. If the fight ended after the 6th Kovalov had an EASY UD! But it DIDN'T and he's only had 1 UD since 2010 against Hopkins who he was beating all over the place...So I can't blame him for not knowing WTF to do in the CHAMPIONSHIPS rounds! HE's an AMATUER at it. Almost ZERO experience.

Before that back in 2010 he had a UD in a 6 rounds fight.

EVERY fight Ward is in goes the distance usually so he CLEARLY knows WTF TO do. He weathers the storm early and then turned the tide.

The SAME SHT is going to happen AGAIN if Kovalov sticks with the same plan or WORSE!!! Turns into a COMPLETE head hunter.

Bet Ward and BET BIG IMO on the rematch. Kovalov doesn't have the discipline or experience to win a 12 rounder against Ward.

no thats a false narrative. kov won the first half and kov won the second half. go watch the video reviews. he won at least 3 of the rounds. how did ward win it? video evidence does not agree with your claims.

how did he not know what to do? he clearly won 10 and 12 and 11 could have gone either way and that translates to HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! you are just making things up. go watch the video. hes still landing the cleaner punches. hes still forcing ward to clinch and bend over nonstop to keep up. I already did a whole series of posts on it whih you will ignore of course and say it was kov holding.

He did NOT win the 11 or 12. HECK the 11th he almost fell down but the ROPES kept him UP??? What fight did you watch???

And the 10th was given to Ward because he BLOODIED Kovalov's NOSE!!! Remember when they traded PUNCHES and Kovalov backed off and was BLEEDING???

I GET it you gave Kovalov rounds 1-6. And then 7-12... You also THREW in rounds 13, 14, and 15 for GOOD MEASURE!!! Cool we all KNOW you don't know SHT about boxing. Get over it. No one BELIEVES a WARD you say. Your too ****** and BIASED.

If you look at the scorecards and see Ward has won the last 7 rounds on two judges cards and 6 0f 7 on the third card, you might think that Andre was in the driver's seat and finished strong but
I didn't see that happening. I saw the rounds as close and that's what's was so surprising about Ward winning every close round.
That's boxing though, the judges have the last word and they don't have to explain how they scored the fight.
It was a robbery in the sense that they took the champ's titles on a less than overpowering performance by Ward. I know it's not supposed to matter to the judges, but in the people's court you have to beat the champ to take the title, no question about it.
