    Updated the link now.

Well it isn’t official but its the latest information we have and I believe there will be an announcement soon.

The link states showtime will air fight live and will be prohibited from mentioning the results until HBO plays the replay. I guess that means Showtime do not get to show a replay at primetime.. since each fighter has a contract with one of the networks, some compromises have to be made I guess.

It's gonna be. Wlad's been out for almost 2 years and didn't look like he wanted to be there last time. I don't know why some people are expecting fireworks.

Maybe Joe Smith vs Hopkins type fireworks, where the retiree gets blown out.

The view of one of the sources involved is that “there’s a lot of gamesmanship going on on the part of both networks. Who knows what they’re going to do or if they’re even willing to go with the deal they’ve negotiated at this point.- SMH
Joshua is signed with Showtime and Klitschko with HBO... Both stations want to air the fight somehow...

Thank you for the update. I definitely want an official release to happen soon. They need to let the public know. It's April 11th, the 29th is only a few weeks away. They have to advertise this on commercials, so the fact that they took this long is bad.

              From the link:

According to the sources, the networks have agreed to the most significant basic deal point, that Showtime will air the fight live in the late afternoon/early evening and HBO will present a tape-delay of the fight a few hours later in prime time. Showtime would pay more for the fight because it has the live airing and HBO would pay quite a bit less to show it on tape.
Who knows exactly what's going to happen, but I would say it's a win for HBO if they end up getting to show the tape-delay.

I just read the article and to be honest it's pretty ridiculous that they haven't come up with a deal by now. The fight is 18 days away. How are the casual folks going to know of this big fight without advertisement. I understand the gamesmanship but this is ridiculous for such a big fight to not receive the proper advertising it deserves. SMH

A win for HBO? The most meaningful heavyweight fight since Tyson-Lewis and HBO gets to show a replay five hours after it is over? Anybody who cares about that fight will watch it live. If Klitschko gets KO'ed, then HBO will do a decent rating from people who missed it live.

But taking second place in line behind Showtime is an L for HBO, no doubt.

Taking another network's sloppy seconds is never a good look.

The problem is it will be live in the afternoon in the US when most people are busy.

Yea most hardcore fans will tune in live but prime time is when both these networks get most thier views.

The winner is the network that gets to keep the forever for replays down the line because this is a big fight that will make AJ potentially the biggest star in boxing and maybe all sports.

I'm going to watch both to compare the commentary.
