All-time, Manny Steward, for sure. Modern; Hunter, strictly for the fact that he's very cerebral. I've never had a boxing coach like that (unfortunately) but my jiujitsu coach was a psychological master and even has a side biz as a sports psychologist. Training with him was amazing because I'm a very analytical person. I've got to know the nuts and bolts of how and why we do things.

Garcia seems like a fun guy to train with though.

          LMAO.

None of those options are even in my top 5.

I'd take Steward, Nacho, Cus d'mato, Benton, Peter Fury, and Mayweather Sr over all of those cats in a heartbeat.

My All time choice to train me would be Cus D'Amato, that man studied boxing as if he were an encyclopedia. He knew his stuff.

From the list that was presented to us I chose Virgil Hunter. For the same reason as yours, he's a cerebral coach and I'm also cerebral and analytical so it would be a good match. Good stuff man.

If it's not obvious to you, I talk about trainers who relevant at THIS current period of time, you can't choose some guy who died three decades ago as your trainer because YOU WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO...Cus D'Amato...Steward...Let's take Jack Blackburn out of his casket too.....A dead guy can't teach you nothing. I talk about trainers who's doing their thing now

No disrespect to these ATG trainers, but it looks like I have to make my point clear for some people here

I would remove Anotoily Lomachenko and replace that name with Nacho Beristain. Nacho is a great trainer and coach, I agree.

Good one. What little I know of Cus fascinates me though I only know of him through things that Mike has said, and a couple of his understudies. I should probably do some reading about Cus.
