          its pretty pointless. explaining how ward conned some fans wont work. they simply dont care. they want to say someone actually ducked ward because its usually the other way around. if you actually look at the facts there is zero chance ggg was going to sign to fight ward at that moment.

          if you look at the timeline ggg had a fight against lemiuex and then had to wait until the cotto/canelo winner to see if the wbc would mandate the fight. he had alreadyd been mandatory for a year so chances were they were going to do it. wards team took advantage of these facts and that facct that a lot of ward fans are low information fans and would simply belive that any offer that was rejected automatically means its a duck. he knew they wouldnt bother to see the whole picture.

          when both guys were available and didnt have fights scheduled ward was not ready to fight.

              doesnt matter because ward said he wanted a tune up first and then the ggg fight. ggg had to wait until cotto/canelo and then the wbc's decision. he couldnt possibly fight ward first if ward was having a tune up. if ward really wanted teh fight he certainly did everything in his power to kill it. b-side wanting 50-50, b-side wanting it at his weight, b-side wanting a tune up first, b-side wanting a-side to take the fight right in the same time frame the cotto/canelo winner would be mandated to figth him. we dont even need all this info because when none of this was blocking the fight and they were both available ward said he wasnt ready so stop pretending ward wanted the fight.

                Yeah, except this logic falls apart for McLumpKin.

                The guy who has said 154-168 for half a decade couldn't lose 4 lbs for THE MOST LUCRATIVE FIGHT AVAILABLE TO HIM.

                      Sure, Saul and Co have since said 160 isn't an issue anymore.

                      But this is why we couldn't get the fight back then.

                      This is why we haven't seen it yet when we could be talking about the third one right now.
