Comments Thread For: Marco Huck-Mairis Briedis: Pre-Fight Report Card

Thanks to Tony Bellew’s heavyweight upset of David Haye at heavyweight, cruiserweight has an opening among its alphabet title ranks. That opening, the WBC’s, will be filled Saturday. One man either adds a second trophy to his case after a previous long run as WBO titlist or we will see a fresh new face emerge from the crowd.

Both sparred together in 2009 and even back then Briedis was the better man. Even Glowacki who is worse than Brieidis KOed Huck easily. Briedis was never dropped before. So the pick is either Briedis by KO or Huck by decision.

Also dont forget that Huck got a lot of gift decisions in the past years when he clearly lost to Lebedev,Afolabi and 45 year old Arslan.

Briedis will do a Tony Bellew on Charr and Huck who are also good friends as Haye and Flores which were both stopped by Bellew.

I've seen Huck fight a few times and Briedis even less. Huck's fight against Glowacki pushes me to go with Briedis by mid-rounds TKO. Regardless, I'm fairly certain it will be a war, just wish I could watch it here in the States.
