Ortiz was only with Hearn on a fight by fight basis...

Excellent move by Ortiz, Eddie Hearn is useless with the mando secured provided Juice blast Klitch. Now by signing with Haymon he has options with the WBC champion should he take an L vs. the winner of Juice-Klitch.

That's a good theory because it makes no sense why these high profile fighters on the Cuban national teams keep signing to hole in the wall promoters no one has ever heard of. Probably being extorted by the people who helped them defect and that was part of their arrangement to get out of cuba.

Signing with Haymon guarantees no fight with Wilder... too legit and risky for bumsquad until Ortiz age starts to show.

            B*tch please.

Ortiz already shows his age...just watch his fight with Malik Scott.

            Old boys legs are GONE.

Ortiz has a mando in place, that is best bet. He should work for his own best interests now instead of being Eddie Hearn's attack dog.

At least he'll get paid well with Haymon. I see the Wilder fight coming soon. And that winner becomes the mandatory for Kilt - Joshua winner.

Hoping it plays out this way

So? Ortiz in theory could keep fighting under Hearn's promotion on a fight by fight basis. All this means Ortiz can walk away after each fight. Doesn't mean Ortiz can't stay fighting for Hearn. Hearn has other fighters signed with Haymon.

I don't care who he signs with as long as we get to see him fight Wilder.
