The Controversy is Gonzalez not Jacobs

I watched the fights earlier, without having known teh results before hand and I thought the controversy would be the undercard bout not the main event. GGG won that clearly but RG was absolutely robbed.

Yes Wang, Sur or whatever that guy wants to call himself put in some good, imposed himself physically at times but the points deduction and the fact that RG was landing the superior shots all night, with the better punch selection should have got him the win.

We are living in some crazy boxing dimension these days where the judges seemed to be paid off for every bout. Or they have no clue how to score a fight.

What was a possible fight of the year ends on a very sour note. Who did you guys have winning?

Gonzalez lost clearly and was knocked down, no controversy there, in fact the controversy was over his fights with cuadras and estrada where he lost those

Then you havent watched the fights. A number of those scoring the bout other than the judges, I'd say the majority but I havent looked it up properly, had Gonzalez winning and some had him winning by a comfortable points margin.

I had it 8-4, a 3 point margin taking in the KD.

      You should watch the fight.

I have watched the fight and it seems like your biased here, I had it to the wangek by 3 thought he landed the harder shots and bullied roman in there, how did you score the cuadras fight, i guess this loss is hard to take for the fanboys, nothing changed hes a good fighter just not top 10 p4p for me, and he was never the best

Gonzales hung tough...but he took a beating. That thai dude...alphabet spaghetti...was just fearless and relentless...and nothing was going to stop him leaving as a champ...not even a set of crooked judges. On the other hand...the GGG fight could have swung either way. I think Jacobs wanted to fight...but everytime he went in...his corner backed him off with the jab up and down and dont engage talk. Some say it was the right idea to try to outbox golov but it wont work...his defence is sharp and most of the shots are deflected. Danny has the power...he should have tried at some point for a shootout...especially given how after the fight he said he felt golovs power and didnt think much of it. His corner had no faith in him and it lead him to not back himself. Thats prolly why he lost the fight. On this night...golov was there to be had.

So we've gone from black bias to latin bias lol

C'mon guys, the comments you're making about the fights are beyond the relaity of what one seens when watching the fight and beyond what the vast majority viewing and scoring the fight also thinks.

You just make yourselves look ******.

I had Gonzalez winning. He clearly outpointed the other guy. The only thing Gonzalez was hurt by was the numerous head butts. The 1st round knockdown was negated by the point taken away for the head butts.

I think another point should have been taken away from the headbutts. It was excesisve and beyond accidental.

And yeah, Gonzalez was clearly the superior fighter in there, whereas the other other was a physical trheat, strong enough to push RG back and grab him and out muscle him but pushing, headbutts and hugs dont win fights. Punches do.

RG threw more and landed more.

Gonzalez will noy last in this division unless he builds his strength and power.

Rungvisiai literally ran not just once. This guy had a compubox record set on him. I mean I dont remember to many times Gonzalez staggering back on the ropes by a combo? I'm still looking tho.
