Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez landed more punches in 10 of 12 rounds and set a junior bantamweight record by landed 372 power shots on Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, who captured the WBC super flyweight title with a twelve round majority decision.

Yikes. Compubox tells some story. Losing the fight despite landing 150 more punches. Feel bad for Roman, that cut screwed him up big time, affecting the scoring and his vision.

Thought roman lost easily, he was never p4p let alone top 10

If you land more than 100 punches compared to your opponent then you deserve to win

Big f***ing deal he landed most of his punches in 2 rounds he was thoroughly beaten in many other rounds and hit the canvas in the first. He LOST. Compubox doesn't mean s*** when the fight goes 12 damn!

I think roman hurt himself by looking so desperate in the later rounds. On paper he landed more punches, but he was throwing hail marys and walking into punches with panic all over his face. I will have to rewatch more analytically.

You have to kill a guy to win by these judges standards when a superflyweight breaks a record! note that lower-weights lead the sport in volume so what does Gonzalez breaking a record on Rungvisai suggest? you couldn't even try any harder thats what.

Gonzalez looked like *****. Last two fights are not for a P4P fighter IMO. Even if you outlanded your opponent, you lost.

So if the guy that out-landed you and had the cleaner punches on you how does the challenger win? Rungivisai is not defensive dynamo and he literally ran from Gonzalez...not even kidding about that - I got proof.
