Not just Asia, in modern time the term is used to encompass parts of North Africa and even Europe (Turkey). There is a clear distinction between the Middle East and just the Asian continent.

Khan is a gold digger. He's nowhere near upper echelon and he just lurks big names begging for an opportunity. His fans must be weary of his degradation of his name and I for one have no intention to follow him in the future. Broner would sell the most as I believe he is a marketing machine and will do more to make the public hate him enough to see him beaten than any other contender.

Frankly, at this point in his career, you can't blame him for wanting to fight people like Khan and Broner. His legacy's already set, why not make loot.
Yeah man Pac is closing in fast on 40 freaking years old. He's been fighting professionally for 22 years. 67 career fights.

I'm amazed that he's still better than most, in fact there's still only a select few in and around the weight class that can beat him. But Crawford may very well be one of those guys.

At best, it's a very, very difficult fight. At worst it's lopsided loss.

Look, it's gotta be hard to see yourself as a torch passer to a younger lion. ESPECIALLY when you've been the man for the vast majority of your career. People will point to Oscar and say that he did it for Manny -- but Oscar absolutely did not enter that fight with the mindset that he was "passing the torch". It just transpired that way. But Oscar, along with most of the public thought he was going to maul the much smaller Pacquiao. Even at that very advanced stage of Oscar's career.

If Manny can make the same amount of money fighting somebody who's less of a risk, at this age, I can't fault him. Now if it were five years ago, then yeah. He would deserve to be crucified.

But the guy is damn near ancient now when it comes to boxing age. Hell most of us when we get to the edge of 40, man we'd probably collapse after ten minutes of full court pickup basketball at the local 24 Hour Fitness, let alone 12 rounds of boxing at the world's highest level.

I have no problem with him taking "softer" touches at this point. And that term soft is relative by the way. I mean for f**k's sake, the guy just beat 2 consensus top ten rated welters in 2016.

Its a shame that the Manny / Khan fight won't happen.

But the warning signs were all there to be honest, from both Arum and Khan.

Khan gets his name out there (again) and Arum gets the chance to put Manny in with Horn, which was probably his plan all along.

As for Broner / Crawford, that won't happen either.

I really think the Broner fight is a legit possibility

It would do decent on PPV, probably better than any option Manny has out there to be honest, and that includes Crawford

And even this knocking on the door of 40 Manny should UD Broner
